Gorafe Dolmens: 240 prehistoric tombs that connect you with the past

The term “Gorafe dolmens” refers to the megalithic funerary structures that you will find throughout the park. They were built between 3000 and 2000 BC. by agricultural and livestock communities. Each dolmen is made up of large stone slabs that formed a chamber where members of the community were buried along with ritual objects.

How to get to the megalithic park
from Gorafe from Granada or Guadix

The park is located in the municipality of Gorafe, north of the province of Granada, within the Granada Geopark. From Granada capital, you can get there by car in approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. If you come from Guadix, the journey is about 35 minutes. There is free parking next to the Megalithism Interpretation Center, from where the main routes depart.
